
The Seafarers Welfare Fest was held on October 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12 NN at Romulo Hall, located within the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
The event brought together migrant advocates, organizations, and community members for a learning session on the rights and welfare of seafarers and migrant workers. Filipino fishers who were victims of human trafficking and affected by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations under the Trump administration shared their lived experience.
