The International Seafarers Action Center (ISAC) extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the Filipino crew who died when their ship, the MV Devon Bay of Singapore registry, capsized on January 23, 2026 off Sabangan Point, west of Pangasinan. Of the vessel’s 21 full crew members, 17 were retrieved, two lost of their lives, and four were still missing.
We extend our solidarity with the crew and their families who suffered from this incident, and fervently hope for the safe rescue of the four missing seafarers.
