Migrante Philippines together with its allied organizations conducted a protest against the NAIA’s privitization

Privatization of transportation services: greater corruption, heavier burdens on the Filipino people.

A protest action was held in front of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), by Migrante Philippines and various migrant organizations, as part of welcoming the year 2026.

The aim of the protest was to expose the collusion of Franz Pumaren, Ramon Ang, and Marcos Jr. in the privitazation of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), located in Metro Manila, and other services for OFWs, while carrying various demands from the sector such as the Magna Carta for Seafarers, the Five Point Demands of domestic workers, and other issues faced by the people.

Hold the Marcos Jr. regime accountable for its anti-migrant policies that affect OFWs and their families. What should be prioritized is creating jobs in the Philippines, so that Families will no longer be separated and torn apart.

Fight for jobs, wages, and rights!
Jobs in the Philippines, not abroad!
