On February 12, 2026, the Asia Pacific Regional CSOs Engagement Mechanism (APRCEM) convened a regional learning session to confront the persistent challenges and systemic barriers hindering genuine sustainable development. Central to the discussion was Development Justice – an alternative to the dominant neoliberal development model.

Through Dewi Amelia, APMM was honored to share grassroots migrants perspectives on how intersecting crises are affecting communities across Asia and the Pacific, and how Development Justice is being advanced through migrant organizing, campaigns and advocacy.
